#DISummit2019 #BeyondTheSurface

Will presentations be recorded?

The breakfast, luncheon and closing keynote presentations will be recorded.

Can I get a list of all the summit attendees?

Unfortunately, there will not be a comprehensive list of all the attendees being distributed.

But since we know connection and networking is a top priority at the Summit, we designed a way for attendees to connect and that is by joining the Summit Directory.  This is a simple process and can be done once you’ve registered for the Summit. You will receive a confirmation email from the Greenville Chamber with directions on how to sign up.
How can I be added to the distribution list to receive information from the Greenville chamber about events like this?

All Summit attendees that we have an email on file for will automatically be added to the Greenville Chamber’s distribution list to receive information concerning upcoming event and initiatives.

What’s the attire?

Suggested attire is business casual.

I have food allergies, who should I report this to?

Be sure to let your servers know the day of the event.

Will tickets be distributed prior to the event?

Tickets and credentials will not be pre-distributed for this event so upon arrival you will be asked to provide your name to one of the many representatives at the check-in area who will verify your participation against the master list and issue your ticket(s) at that time. Your ticket and credentials serve as your access to the sessions and reception.

If I’m interested in being a presenter or have a recommendation for a presenter for future D&I Summits, who should I contact?

We welcome your suggestions. Please send speaker recommendations to Nika White at

Is there a way for attendees to provide program organizers with feedback?

After the conclusion of each presentation, attendees will be asked to complete a brief 3-5 minute survey related to that session. Also, post-event, guests will receive an email with a link to a survey soliciting your feedback on the overall summit experience. In advance, we appreciate your participation in our survey.

Will presenters have products for sell?

Yes they will, during the reception hour.

Will there be an opportunity to ask the presenters questions?

During the breakfast, luncheon and closing keynotes, there will be two microphones set up for the Question & Answer period with our speakers.  Throughout these presentations,  please feel free to jot down any questions you’d like to ask. We will do our best to accommodate as many questions as possible during the allotted time period. All workshop facilitators are to incorporate time for Q&A within their session as well. Last, the networking reception will allow time for one-on-one conversations with the presenters.

What time will doors open?

Doors will open at 8am.

My schedule will not allow me to attend the full Summit. Will I have any trouble getting checked in upon arrival?

The Check-In station will remain open throughout the Summit for those that may need to arrive after the Summit has started. While we encourage registrants make every attempt to attend the full day’s events for optimal experience, we understand schedules may not permit and we welcome you for as long as you can participate.

Do registrants have assigned seating during the sessions?

For the general assembly breakfast, luncheon and closing keynotes, all sponsors will have a designated table with signage displaying the company’s name and table number. All other tables are considered “open  seating” for individual ticket purchasers. Volunteers will be on-site with ballroom diagram to help direct guests to their table assignment. Because we will be at capacity, we ask that you please adhere to your breakfast/lunch table assignment provided to you at check in. Your lunch table assignment will be written on the back of your ticket. Please note that some individual registrants may be assigned to a sponsor table where space may have been available. This is NOT a mistake, please consider this an upgrade! For the workshop sessions, there is open seating arrangement (no reserved seats).

How do I submit my attendance at this event for SHRM or HRCI credits?

The code will be provided on-site, the day of the event.

Will you be accepting on-site registrations in case I know of someone interested in attending?

Yes we will, but a very limited number and there will be an up-charge.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?
